The Santa Maria Water District was awarded a Certificate of Recognition by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Bulacan during the PSA Respondents’ Forum for Establishment Surveys held on December 11, 2024 at the Mighty King Restaurant, Acrocity, McArthur Highway, Ilang-ilang, Tabang, Guiguinto, Bulacan.
The Quarterly Survey for Philippine Business and Industry (QSPBI) is crucial in determining the Philippines economic performance. It provides essential data on employment, compensation, production, revenues, inventory and capacity utilization to the computation of key indicators like the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). With the help of this survey, it supports government policy formulation and planning. The QSPBI plays a critical role in promoting sustainable economic growth and addressing national development needs.
The SMWD has been awarded for being one of only 5 establishments to receive the certificate of recognition during the event. The PSA-Bulacan acknowledges the SMWD’s timely, complete and high quality of data submission for the Quarterly Survey for Philippine Business and Industry which plays a critical role in promoting sustainable economic growth and addressing national development needs.
Ms. Elymargeline Ramos and Mr. Alvin Policarpio represented SMWD during the event and were the ones who received the certificate.
