As part of our corporate social responsibility, Santa Maria Water District successfully implemented the Water Savers School Education Program across 11 schools within the Municipality of Santa Maria, engaging the minds of 1,045 young water users. Together, we emphasized the importance of water conservation and proper waste segregation to build a healthier, more sustainable future for our community.
To complement the lessons, we distributed hygiene kits to all student attendees, promoting proper sanitation habits both at school and at home.
The program’s impact was reflected in the feedback we received from the teachers, where we garnered an over-all average score of 4.97/5 (Excellent)! This achievement underscores the dedication of our team and the enthusiasm of our young water savers.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the schools, students and educators who made this initiative a success. Your participation and support inspire us to continue championing environmental education programs in 2025 and beyond.
Let’s keep saving water, one drop at a time!
Together, we make a difference!
