Santa Maria Water District is in need of:

1. FINANCIAL PLANNING ANALYST

Responsible for assisting in preparation of subsidiary ledgers and schedules

Qualifications: 

  • Completion of 4 or 5 year course in Accountancy or its equivalent
  • Preferably Certified Public Accountant
  • With experience in preparation of Financial Statements, Government Accounting and Taxation

2. UTILITIES/CUSTOMER SERVICES ASSISTANT (Meter Reader)

Responsible for reading and billing of water consumption of the concessionaires

Qualifications:            

  • Completion of 2 years studies in College
  • With Non-Professional or Professional Driver’s License
  • Career Service (Sub-professional/Professional) eligibility is an advantage

3. UTILITIES/CUSTOMER SERVICES ASSISTANT

Responsible for assisting concessionaire’s requests, complaints and other concerns

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any 4-year course
  • Career Service (Sub-professional /Professional) eligibility is an advantage

4. FIELD SERVICES INSPECTOR

  1. Performance of tasks relative to billing verification and inspection of services
  2. Execution of disconnection and reconnection of services

Qualifications:

  • Completion of 2 years studies in College
  • With Non-Professional or Professional Driver’s License
  • Career Service (Sub-professional/Professional) eligibility is an advantage

5. LABORER

Performance of tasks relative to the installation and maintenance of pipelines and water meters.

Qualifications: 

  • At least High School Graduate
  • With Non-Professional or Professional Driver’s License
  • With experience in plumbing, construction and maintenance work is an advantage

6. MATERIALS/SUPPLIES INSPECTOR

Responsible for pre-investigation and post-investigation of new connections

Qualifications: 

  • Graduate of any 4-year course
  • Career Service (Sub-professional/Professional) eligibility is an advantage
  • With Non-Professional or Professional Driver’s License

7. SECRETARY

Responsible for providing administrative support to the office of the General Manager

Qualifications: 

  • Completion of 4-year course preferable Journalism, Communication Arts or other related courses
  • Career Service (Sub-professional/Professional) eligibility is an advantage

8. ACCOUNTING PROCESSOR

Responsible for encoding, scanning of files and preparing disbursement vouchers

Qualifications: 

  • Graduate of BS in Accountancy
  • Career Service (Sub-professional/Professional) eligibility is an advantage

9. MANAGEMENT INFORMATION ANALYST

  1. Responsible for website design, lay-outs and other graphical design using Adobe Photoshop.
  2. Knowledgeable in Programming and basic hardware troubleshooting

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Information Technology or Computer Science Course
  • Career Service (Sub-professional/Professional) eligibility is an advantage
  • With experience in graphic design, Programming and hardware troubleshooting
