SANTA MARIA WATER DISTRICT IS IN NEED OF:

1. MAINTENANCE MAN
Performance of tasks relative to the installation and maintenance of pipelines and water meters.

Qualifications:
• At least high school graduate;
• Has a valid professional driver’s license.
• Can operate at least three to four-wheeled vehicle; and
• Preferably with experience in plumbing, construction and maintenance work.

2. METER READER
Responsible for reading and billing of water consumption of the concessionaires.

Qualifications:
• Completion of at least two years in College;
• Preferably with Career Service eligibility; and
• Has a valid driver’s license.

3. PUMP OPERATOR
Responsible for operating pump stations, constant monitoring and evaluation of the water distribution system.

Qualifications:
• At least high school graduate or have obtained any relevant vocational course in electrical or mechanical motor pumps;
• Preferably has relevant experience or background in single-phase and three-phase electrical systems; and
• Has a valid professional driver’s license.

4. SECRETARY
Responsible for providing administrative support to the office of the General Manager.

Qualifications:
• Completion of at least two years in College; and
• Preferably with Career Service eligibility.

5. PROCUREMENT ASSISTANT
Performance of task relating to coordinating and facilitating the procurement goods and services.

Qualifications:
• Completion of at least two years in College;
• Preferably with Career Service eligibility; and
• Has a valid professional driver’s license.

6. CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Responsible for providing assistance to the concessionaire’s requests, complaints and other concerns.

Qualifications:
• Completion of at least two years in College
• Preferably with Career Service eligibility; and
• Preferably with relevant experience in customer service.

7. FIELD SERVICES INSPECTOR
Responsible for billing verification and inspection orders and execution of disconnection and reconnection orders.

Qualifications:
• Completion of at least two years in College;
• Preferably with Career Service eligibility; and
• Preferably has a valid professional driver’s license.
