Before the event officially started, participants from various agencies posed for group photos. The program opened with a welcome address from Atty. Rosalinda A. Before the start of the race, the runners shows their dance moves through Zumba and serve as a warm-up before the run. The runners are also divided into 3 color blast of runners: Blue Runners, Violet Runners and Red Runners. Each colors represented the core values and qualities that public servants strive to embody in their service to the nation: blue for peace, violet for resilience and red for bravery.
To enhance festive atmosphere during the run, colorful powder was thrown in the air, creating a vibrant backdrop for the run. Water sprays were also set up at the starting line and along the route to add a refreshing challenge for the participants. After the run, a second round of Zumba was held as a cool-down activity following the intense race.
The event concluded with a simultaneous color splash at the start line, where water and colored powder were showered on the runners, making the experience fun, memorable, and enjoyable.
Proceeds from the run will support the CSC’s Pondong Pamanang Lingkod Bayani Program, honoring deceased government employees who exemplified public service excellence.
