General Manager, Engr. Carlos N. Santos, Jr., together with Usec Carlos Primo C. David of DENR and Assistant Secretary Roderick M. Planta of NEDA, served as panel reactors for LWUA Administrator Atty. Jose Moises F. Salonga at the Philippine Assn. of Water District’s 5th Convergence and PAWD’s 50th Anniversary’s plenary session held on August 13, 2024 in Baguio City, with the theme “Transformative Strategies in Water Management for Enhanced Resilience.” Effective and resilient water management towards empowered water districts were the main topics of the session.
Also, another commendation to our GM Carlos N. Santos, Jr. In recognition of their contributions to the association and all water districts around the country, former PAWD chairpersons and presidents received awards on the anniversary night. GM Jun has served the PAWD year 2018 to 2019. Attendees from various local water districts across the nation observed the historic occasion of commemorating the 50th anniversary of the PAWD and the fifth PAWD convergence.
