In times of pandemic, Santa Maria Water District (SMWD) continues to adapt precautionary measures in order to protect its concessionaires and employees. The Department of Health (DOH) recommends the public to get vaccination in order to mitigate the complications of COVID-19.
In view thereof, Santa Maria Water District (SMWD), in partnership with Mercury Drug – Sta. Maria, conducted its 2nd batch of vaccination against pneumonia last March 04, 2022 (Friday) at the Farmacia Office. The Human Resource Section, represented by Ms. Shaira Maela N. Sonajo (Industrial Relations Management Assistant A) and Lovella Anne J. Jose (Personnel Assistant), assisted the 65 employees who were successfully vaccinated.
Getting vaccinated is protecting not only yourself, but also your community. SMWD will continue to organize activities that will help fight COVID-19.
